Beautiful copy of Lord of the Rings. Illustrated by Tolkien’s own illustrations. #LOTR #tolkien #LordOfTheRings
Microsoft Windows 1.0 was released on this day, 38 years ago (1985). Steve Ballmer has always been crazy.
I'm still gonna call it Twitter
Britain is currently mowing the grass, hanging the washing, barbecuing, getting its knees out, washing the car, sitting in a beer garden and trying to get a fly out the house.
I’d love to see a cooking show where the chef attempts to cook an intricate dish while their toddler “helps” them
Pheasant Gully. A great example of a light, easy to drink Pinot Noir that doesn’t break the bank. Air for a couple of hours and typical high acidity disappears @marksandspencer #pinotnoir #WineWednesday #wine
My first Rhone Côte Rôtie from @BrunswickFW Very powerful aroma - blackberry, damson, liquorice after. Spicy and tart/sweet taste. Changed rapidly during being open. #rhone #wine
Fabulous #Burgandy Puligny-Montrachet Enseignères 2001. Did not disappoint. Insanely easy to drink @BrunswickFW
An actual whale off Carbis Bay where we holiday each year. Astounding
Surprise! 🐳🐳 James was handlining for mackerel in St Ives Bay when he had a close encounter with a whale.

The nostalgia on this thread……My standout phones - Nokia 8800 (still the most beautiful phone ever made, although a useless keyboard you had to use your fingernails to type with) and Samsung D500 (the slide mechanism on this is still the best ever made)
After the early bricks but before smartphones, there was a stretch where phone design went absolutely catshit bananas (1/?)
