Hard to imagine how racist and cowardly you have to be to sneak at night to target the resting place of the dead. This is Islamophobia, and its targeted towards both the living and the dead.

We do have a splendid team (here’s to you @nationaltrust social media peeps) and some lovely supporters here on Twitter who’ve helped debunk a lot of lies and half-truths about the Trust. They all deserve a shout out. It takes a village to look after an institution.

what the incredible @CeliaRichards0n and her team have achieved at the @nationaltrust has got the tone, approach and balance exactly right

Check out this fascinating #DigitalLab blog post which uses pieces of marble from the Taj Mahal, which are cared for by @MAACambridge, as a starting point to examine building stones from India & South Africa, and explore colonial monuments, buildings, and the history of mining 👇

Gosh I hadn’t realised Restore Trust (RT2021 Ltd) has been running a paid-for ad campaign about its National Trust sconescare. I wonder how much it cost. I wonder how much the company’s Respect Britain’s Heritage website and all its other ads cost.
