Breaking: We understand an 11th-hour bid to take over Reading Women has fallen through, all but ensuring the team will not play in the Women's Championship. Club now must decide which level of the pyramid to enter a team, if at all. Developing story here: theguardian.com/football/artic…

This breaks my heart! A club that has a great history in women’s game &produced so many amazing players. It’s been a tough few years but this is horrific!! Something needs to be done! NOW! Someone has to stand up for this group! For those at the club… DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN!!!
