I work in a supermarket and we’ll have massive queues for self checkouts & no queues for tills. We advise checkouts are open, no one wants to go. Pros & cons for both.
Self checkouts need to be scrapped. Nobody wants them and they’re impersonal and not much quicker. Good to see @Morrisons realising this. I’ve never met anyone who prefers them and I’ve worked in supermarket. What’s your view?
