Nobody talks about how hard it is being the first to do something when you have no good examples in your life. No blueprint just trials and error.

I think the interviewer for Michelle Obama tonight in Halifax, Nova Scotia was a display on “how not to interview”. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Here is some of the questions that were asked: ⁃How did it feel to be the main breadwinner and be forgotten about? ⁃Can you bring Oprah?

What happened to all those who gave speeches about solidarity, allyship, checking in and dismantling barriers? The difference between DEI and Anti-Racism, Decolonization and Anti Oppression work should be clear by now.

Haiti’s sociopolitical plight is result of constant and intentional political interference from western powers for their unwillingness to end their fight for autonomy. Reducing it to a “spiritual attack” is disrespectful to those who continue to die/fight for that autonomy.

I truly believe that Haitian people are special. That's why the spiritual attack on them is so strong.

We desperately need public restrooms, cooling off and hydration stations all throughout this country. If you’re out in public, and you have to use the restroom, or you’re thirsty, or you’re hot, and in need of shade, there should be somewhere free to go.
