Football received the #3 seed (north) in the MSHSL Class AAAA State Tournament. Orono will play Hermantown in the quarterfinal round on Thursday night (11/7, 6:00PM) at Alexandria High School.
Section Champs‼️ Congratulations to the Orono Football team on winning the Section 6AAAA Championship and punching its ticket to the 2024 MSHSL Class AAAA State Football Tournament.
Spartans knock off Westonka by a score of 40-19 to advance to the Section 6AAAA Championship! Orono will now host Providence on Friday (11/1) night at 7:00 PM with a trip to the State Tournament on the line.

Lance Johnson is retiring from Coaching Basketball at MA after an amazing career! Lance coached the Boys Team from 2004-2024 and was previously our Girls BB Coach, taking that team to State in 2001. Lance’s teams won 588 games and State Championships in 2013, 17, 18, 19 and 21.
