Watching the QB school with JT O’Sullivan talking about Purdy’s Week 1 and he talked about how Brock throws with anticipation as well as anyone. This was a cool shot. You can see Purdy winding up before Jennings is even out of his break for a completion downfield #49ers
Slightly late season prediction: At the end of the 2022 season it felt like the 49ers couldn't lose (until Purdy's arm fell off). And the first 5 games of 2023 felt the same way before the weird 3 game losing streak. I feel like this team is THAT team. 14-3 this year.…

Can Kyle be replaced? Yes. But by somebody better? Unlikely. You can make the argument that there are better head coaches than Kyle. But they aren’t available to be hired. Other than the 72 year old Belichick. Probably not the best long term plan. 7/9
What about the product on the field? The roster is loaded with guys who fit this system. Losing Kyle would mean all these expensive locked in contracts now don’t fit as well because they fit Kyle’s system. Investing in these players was an investment in Kyle. 6/9
So is it Jed? He famously said we don’t hang banners for NFC Championships. Possibly. But unlikely. He seems to love John & Kyle & extended them less than a year ago. His relationship with the prickly Harbaugh had a lot more to do with Harbs leaving than on the field results.5/9
So if it is not financial then is it based on success on the field? 1 - Maybe. Although John and Denise never seemed to show much concern about wins and losses. Maybe they had a change of heart and they only care about Super Bowl banners all of the sudden. 4/9
2 - The franchise has nearly doubled in value since Kyle and John took over. The revenue is way up. The profit is way up. 2022 was the 2nd most profitable season in franchise history. And in 2023 they went to the Super Bowl. 3/9
