For every hour of throwing + training, do two hours of research, and that's your passive recovery with an opportunity for growth and learning.

Just 1 year difference in these long toss videos. Some things that progressed the distances here: - general speed - faster contraction times - oblique strength + mob - mechanical adjustments - throwing frequency - throwing intent - LT'd ~ 90x over this time span @jaegersports

For pitchers Because the delivery is a ballistic movement, the upper half doesn't have to produce much force, but it needs to be able to accept it. That's why I like heavy eccentrics to pec end range, (being strong concentrically in the pec has little application to the delivery)

Almost impossible to reach a playable collegiate-professional base level of strength without the bench press.

So now having talked to a CSCS, DPT, and pitching coach, it's pretty inconclusive on what actually makes a pitcher a pronator or a supinator. And also the "why" for some guys who excel with both. Anyone have a deeper understanding as to what causes this bias. And is it even real?

Been thinking about this one all morning 😂🥴🥱🤔

Definitely an underrated skill being able to fluctuate and adapt to getting throwing/workouts/lifts done at any hour of the day. Especially if you want to get to a level where travel is considered and also the possibility of being In a different time zone every 3/4 days

So the majority of people are right handed, and ER dominant (in hips). I'm curious to know the reason why the majority of guys who are IR dominant are mostly LHPs. You'd guess anatomical structure along with coordination would have nothing to do with one another, right?

It's November 6th and such a great night down at the field with amazing weather to do one of the greatest things. #longgggggg @jaegersports

Very funny hearing the "99% of HS athletes who sacrificed everything never made it" banter. I just have a really hard time believing this. So you hear the "99% who never made it", yet I've never heard 1 actual example of someone who sacrificed everything and still came up short.

Devin Booker talks about “sacrificing” while in High School.

Players You have a choice when someone tells you you're not good enough. You can either feel sorry for yourself, sulk like a little baby, and keep doing what you're doing. Or You can get tough and get to work. Soft-lazy players aren't in high demand. Want it? Prove it.

Players...if HS homecoming, parties, spring break, etc. are higher than baseball on your priority scale...I get it. Have as much fun as possible. But be honest with yourself and coaches about your competitive athletics aspirations, which are recreational in nature. Not everyone…

Playing in a time period where biomechanics and sequencing in the delivery are becoming more and more prevalent, it's definitely wild how much hot air you'll find on the internet.

10/7 iVB 19-21 Spin efficiency 99-100

Bake for 4 hours at 200 degrees and your balls are no longer water logged / over 149 G

Fact For anyone wondering why this happens, (in simple terms) stretching out to max distance will require you to spin the ball more efficiently, or create more high pressure air beneath the ball to create an upward force (magnus effect), which resists gravitational effects (iVB)

Want more Vertical Break on your FB (what we used to call Life/Carry)? Throw it Higher and Farther re Long Toss. More Distance = More Extension (ROM) More Uphill = More Layback More Uphill = More Downhill (Leverage) More Uphill = More Athleticsim #1Arm, #1Career
