I think the movement of hair plus the fact she looks like she's in some form of jacket means she's downing water before she heads out to find betsy. carla has psyched herself up to be honest with lisa but then immediately offers to drive her when she realised betsy is in trouble

okay my theory: we never saw actual footage of the dead body after it's retrieval from the water. the body bag use is too convenient for them to have 'forgotten'. give it a few years and joel is coming back from the dead. never say never in the land of soap #corrie
