Members standing strong at @woolworths distribution centres. If you’re wondering why the shelves are empty, it’s b/c of appalling conditions at work. Cameras everywhere, timing every second of work, pressuring workers all the time. This is an AI algorithms future of work.
WHY WOULDN’T YOU MAKE THE CHOCOLATES DINOSAUR SHAPED?! (Cried the 38-year-old to @marksandspencer)

Good that Vic gov is warning people about surging Covid cases. But seriously? Don't go to any party or gathering if you have symptoms regardless of testing! It is simply not ok to share your Covid/whooping cough/Mycoplasma pneumoniae/flu/RSV/Bird flu/common cold with everyone.

My current A level students have just started studying the Aeneid. As always, I showed them this as a summary of scholarly debates about the relative merits of Homer and Virgil.
I love asking people to guess how big passenger pigeon flocks could get. 100,000 birds? A million? Try two billion. In 1860 one writer described a flock of birds a mile wide that took *14 hours* to pass overhead, packed so dense that it blocked the sun.
Young Australians. Stop with the young Australians stuff. Most Aussies with a HECS/HELP debt are still paying off their education into their 30s, even 40s in many cases. Parents take longer to pay off debt owing to part-time and time out of work. HECS hurts into mid-life. #auspol
Heart wrenching images coming out of Valencia today 💔
Australia saved 65,000 lives by its pandemic measures, if you compare its per capita death rate to that of the UK. Were the lockdowns over-draconian and procedurally inept? Yes. If the primacy of airborne transmission had been acknowledged, it could all have been done so much…
Now might be a good time to post this image again showing the actual extent of lockdowns in Australia
'Avoid it like the plague' is now a redundant expression.

Burnout isn't about hours worked. In fact, there are usually much deeper causes. Leaders should start to recognize when it's occurring, And take steps to help. Use this graphic to find causes of burnout in your organization.
