Microsoft & OpenAI demoing e-commerce concierge 🤯 You share your needs with a brand you trust. In 10 seconds, you get a personalized website featuring only the products that work for you, with explanations on how to use them and why they were chose @sethjuarez we should talk!

Day 21. I made my first agent 🥳 Three weeks passes by and today I made a first agent. It's pretty simple: make audio transcript using whisper → do a reasoning with 4o-latest → make a summary of the reasoning with 4o-mini. Small step for humanity, big one for me 🤫

Day 20 was a breakthrough moment. For the first time, instead of relying on Cursor, I went "a classic way" & started building functions myself. It turns out that through osmosis you can understand the syntax pretty well!

Day 18. It was all about @AITinkerers first event in Poland. Full house, amazing demos, vibe, feedbacks - what can I say... we're going to make a best community of builders in the region! 🔥

Day 17. Yesterday I've learned how to do transcripts using whisper. Love it, so far the most useful feature - gonna use it for user interviews 🤩 Also learned from transcripts that @ardabrowski is not in danger. He's the danger!

Day 16. Last week I failed. But back to the game! Today I learned how to fetch changing data, anonymize it on the go with LLM, and post anonymized data to the server. I also learned that @cursor_ai is always pushing old OpenAI API and is stubborn af to reflect on changes...

Day 7. Learned how to overwrite JSON file that had math errors and expected some questions to be answered by LLM on the go. Posted through API to the server. Feeling badass 🔥

Day 6/50 of AI Engineering Sprint. Started to getting fun with it, it's not so scary anymore. I'm stil lame though. I built a simple tool that has it's own guardrails - keeping in track with English despite being asked to change language and keeping internal knowledge base.

Day 3. I've built a first web-interacting LLM program ever. Feels good🥳 The task was to login into form with changing questions, but using LLM- there was an anti-human captcha that agent had to find answer to, like "What's the year of first Moon landing" thanks @dygudamarcin!

Day 2/50 of AI Engineer Sprint Reality check: I'm John Snow of programming. Discovery: Cursor helps- it's the only reason I'm able to understand course code. Tool recommendation: @promptfoo , super easy to understand bot in console & web - I was surprised how easy it's to create…

Today I'm starting a 50 day sprint of becoming AI Engineer, inspired by @maxtkacz AI sprint. ✨ Next 5 weeks I'm having a crash course, then applying knowledge to my project. From today to Xmas eve. Wish me luck, I'll keep progress posted! 🫡

Our (first) DocETL preprint is now on Arxiv! "DocETL: Agentic Query Rewriting and Evaluation for Complex Document Processing" arxiv.org/abs/2410.12189 It has been almost 2 years in the making, so I am very happy we hit this milestone :-)
