Ok, I'm officially having fun. #Blender + Cycles interactivity is impressive, shaders work very similar to RedShift ... as you can see I am not comfortable with the controls but I'm working on it ...


I've been testing #Blender for a few months now, and I have to say that I'm really impressed. I imported this sequence in USD format (exported from Houdini); Blender applies a 'mesh sequence cache' modifier that allows referencing the file. Cycles seems a great render engine
