Thanks Henri. Appreciate your comments - and for your columns over the past few months. It would be premature for anyone to think that The QT pausing publishing means that a subscription model doesn't work. I've learned a lot this year!

Grateful to @BrianTheQT for allowing me to be contributor to 24th edition @TheQTonline - very much hope it isn’t the last; just last for now #levellingup is indeed dead My thoughts on where it went wrong, & what new govt is doing right #growth mission theqt.online/levelling-up-i…

We are going out the same way as we came in - by making the entire edition of The QT free for everyone to read. It’s another cracker. 6/6 #NorthEastNews #NorthEastCulture #NorthEastBusiness #NorthEastStories #RegionalJournalism #LocalJournalism #NorthEastEngland #TheQT

@hartlepoolfe, under the leadership of @HCFEprincipal, is one of the great assets of our town. So when they ask me to raise an issue of their behalf, as MP I answer. See my letter on post-16 education and the need for change after 14 years of Conservative failure.

@arrivanortheast is reducing the 23 service between Sunderland & Hartlepool. @hartlepoolfe has ~110 students using this service from various places on this route & it will now take ~2 hours to get fro Easington to Hartlepool as a change is needed. Young people deserve better.
