The Vatican has unveiled the official mascot of the Holy Year 2025: Luce (Italian for Light). Archbishop Fisichella says the mascot was inspired by the Church's desire "to live even within the pop culture so beloved by our youth."

As a Catholic I attended Easter Mass as I have other services here. It’s the right thing to do to stand with brave people trying to worship under severe CCP restrictions and oppression. I’ve spoken publicly about the lack of religious freedom in China and will continue to do so.
