i’m so tired of abortion rights being framed around truly tragic circumstances like assault and incest. if you get pregnant & you don’t want to be pregnant, it is your right over your own body that is under siege. no one, including a fetus, can use your body against your consent.
The right of women to decide what happens to our own bodies is a human right. And experience tells us that removing the legal right to abortion doesn’t stop abortions happening - it just makes them unsafe and puts the lives of women at much greater risk #RoeVWade
We’re extremely disappointed that the government is making calories on menus mandatory in England from 6 April. We know it causes anxiety for people affected by eating disorders. We know it can increase fixations on restricting calories for anyone with anorexia or bulimia. 🧵

I was spiked last month in a club in Glasgow and the bouncers watched as my friends dragged me outside as I couldn’t see and could barely breath n then they refused to let my pal bring me out a cup of water :) Clubs need to do better and that starts with hiring the right staff.
