First off, I want to thank @Kdenkss for the shout-out! Now, it's time for a short thread on a project that I am extremely bullish about, the transshipment hub coming up in Vizhinjam... 1/n

Excellent thoughts on my new favourite U.S. listed company $SNOW

The explosion of AI has turned data into the lifeblood of modern business. Companies need not only vast amounts of data but also the ability to process it faster than ever before -- $SNOW earnings yesterday proved how they're built to meet this demand 👇 A Strong Q3 Backdrop…

A very useful infographic, as I am digesting the earnings update from $SE this evening :)

About 62 million Southeast Asians have the purchasing power of South Koreans. (So more than the actual population of South Korea). These are full scale members of the first world. They take lots of vacations around the region, go to amazing restaurants, and are effectively the…

Legacy media is dead. Long live citizen journalism! The US presidential campaign was further proof of what Elon Musk has been repeatedly predicting: citizen journalism is overtaking traditional media. While the winning candidate appeared in several independent podcasts for long…

@Parth_Patel1925 Promoter selling is a topic needs to be analysed on case to case basis. I remember holding Page indus, where promoter used to sell freqnt.still created big wealth. Understandg big picture and think in terms of marketcap to opportunity size etc will help us.

So it begins 😇❤️

This gentleman is sharing such a critical insight about fast growth companies. Pay attention

Money chases high pace of sales growth in a business. Money starts leaving as soon as the growth rate starts falling down for any business. Trent is not any Consistent Compounder. The mistake would be to assume that the business will keep growing at 50% for eternity. Our…

The thing about the genie of Islamists/jihadists is, once you unleash them, it's really hard to get them back inside the bottle. :)

U.S. Embassy Dhaka reiterates calls for calm and peace. We are concerned about reports of attacks on religious minorities and religious sites in Bangladesh. As a friend and partner to the Bangladeshi people, the United States will continue to support Bangladesh's democratic…

I would highly suggest following this gentleman for some real geopolitical insights, and for a crash course in realpolitik

A superpower has no permanent friends or enemies, only permanent interests. US isn't unique in that. If this was any other country in place of the US, it would probably act similarly. Again, all this requires less emotions and more rationality to understand.

We’re going to look at tweets like this next year and realize how well @DaveHcontrarian understood the financial markets & the economy in general in 2024

This is my last reply today so people asking questions don't expect me to respond. Obviously can't know exactly where it turns but this sell-off won't last long. Could reverse today. Could reverse next week. My targets haven't changed.

I'm writing about Tamilnadu since morning. I'll write some more. BJP trolls have been commenting for a long time only negative things about Tamilnadu and Kerala. They feel Modi needs to save these states. My opinion is we don't need Modi to rescue us. Tamilnadu has been doing…

Finally a post that echoes what I have been thinking for the last 3 months. Danke 🙏🏽 to the author

Within 12 months, the GenAI bubble will have burst. • The economics don’t work • The current approach has reached a plateau • There is no killer app • Hallucinations remain • Boneheaded errors remain • Nobody has a moat • People are starting to realize all of the above.

I'm not against tax. I'm only against all accountability on citizens only. One day delay in filing ITR, pay fine. - But I'll build flyovers for 10 years - I'll collect toll on under repair NHs - I'll not guarantee that bridges will not collapse - I'll not do anything on bribes

Thank you for saying this! I agree

There is a fundamental case for dis-incentivising real estate speculative investment - expensive real estate makes everything downstream more expensive. A retailer needs to sell much more/at higher price to break even. The same goes with eateries, small shops and so on (1/2)
