Do you know who makes the stuff you use daily? I just had a face-smashing realization that on average, I like things made by people I know. The more removed I am from knowing the makers, the less I like em (maybe obvious in hindsight)

Forcing people to come back into work to “make it more equitable” for factory workers = we STILL don’t want to adequately compensate factory workers for their time away from their homes so we’ll punish everyone else instead. It’s just economics. Is it sustainable?
