What I said was: "Here's your smoke meat." What I wish I said was:" Can I smoke your meat?" 🤭🤡😂😂😂😂

Yesterday was supposed to be my day off, but stuff happened where I have today off instead. I go to Hiros to purchase Josh Tatofi tickets AND HIS TICKETS SOLD OUT AGAIN. WHY MOLOKAI? WHY CAN'T YOU LEAVE JUST ONE TICKET???? 😭😭😭😭

Current mood: Josh Tatofis "Leolani" is on repeat just to hear him sing my Inoa Hawai'i in the first verse. The way this man's voice got me in a choke hold in craaaaazy 🤭🤦🏽‍♀️😅🤣🤣

So he's supposed to come back, but I don't work Hot bread no more....lmao I hope he likes smoke meat and some random poke idk. 😂🤦🏽‍♀️😭😭

If Josh Tatofi comes to hot bread I'm giving him a free bread. Idc 🤷🏽‍♀️

On September 15th, 2001 a Sikh man was killed in a hate crime while helping landscapers plant flowers outside of his own gas station to honor 9/11 victims. A lot of America didn’t get better after 9/11. They just used it as an excuse to be even worse.

Watching this and remembering who Americans became after 9-11. It was beautiful. We were kinder. Helpful. More loving. More compassionate. No political rancor. No division. No attacking the President of the other party. I’d give anything for America to be that way again! #911Day

The trauma I got from being senior class president made me think that a whole lot of parents lived through their kids. Being an adult and watching my niece go through the same thing made me realize some parents are absolute fckn control freaks.

It’s nice that some of y’all non-Kanaka wanna help but I’ve seen some ‘savior-ish’ comments lately, like, no! You can’t go to Maui rn, essential travel ONLY! That means long-term & monetary donations, we don’t need to be saved. Idk if you saw but Hawaiians got Hawaiians! PERIOD

The message from Maui community is loud and clear: cancel your vacation and travel plans. Lāhainā needs time to heal and regenerate, and Native Hawaiians and local communities must be centered in the rebuild. Not realators, developers, and tourists. Lāhainā isn’t for sale.

The devastation in Maui after shocking wildfires is clear. There are still hundreds of people missing and unaccounted for. And there are thousands of people who have lost their homes and livelihoods - and desperately in need of aid and shelter. So does it surprise you to know,…

I just asked someone if they wanted to tie me down with the lei they were making. I will now go and deactivate my lungs. 🫣🤡🤡🤡

Dora the explorer helped us find clues when we were kids. Dora the fckn storm helped us find out how fckn stupid our government is. 😤🤬🤬🤬

The way people have to tell y'all to NOT donate stained & used underwear is fucking INSANE. Common sense isn't so fucking common apparently

As Polynesians, we’re taught to respect our elders no matter what. I’m teaching my daughter to “respect who respects you.”Respect is earned! Idgaf what age you are.

🚨Attn: Media outlets covering the Maui wildfires 🚨 Hawaii’s culture is very unique. The first bullet point is especially important when using the word “Hawaiian” (in most cases, don’t)

Members of the media writing about Hawaiʻi: The ʻAhahui Haku Moʻolelo (Hawaiian Journalists Association) and @aaja have put together this guidance for you. Full statement at the link: aaja.org/2023/08/14/%ca…
