❌ Let's stop asking special #education #teachers to support assignments and instead give them the flexibility to support SKILLS. ❌ #LeadInclusion #EdLeaders #UDL #successforall #MasteryChat #GlobalEd #Inclusion #UDLchat #UDL #TeacherTwitter

I’ve posted this before, but I feel compelled to do so again. It's important to remember that students don't "give us a hard time", they are simply "having a hard time".#empathy #patience #understanding

🤔 Students with IEPs are simply students, and their identity as learners isn't altered by the services they receive 💡 #LeadInclusion #EdChat #UDL #Inclusion #education

I wish all teachers could embrace this concept. Think about what ALL students need!

🙌 Students who have #IEP s do not *belong* to #specialeducation. All students are are general #education students. ALL #students belong to ALL #teachers and all #edleaders! They are all OURS. #LeadInclusion #successforall #edchat #teachersoftwitter #teach #EdLeadership

Wow did this one hit home. I'm June tired and it's not even October.

Teacher, You’re tired. It feels like your kindness keeps getting taken for granted. It seems as if your students rarely notice the little things you do. And that one parent is always angry with you. I get it. I see you. But please, keep fighting! We need you. Thank you.

The possibilities with math are infinite...especially when you are having fun! @NHSMIDDLESCHOOL @VoyagerSopris

The best part of my job is my students. The worst part of my job is saying goodbye. I'm going to miss this crew more than words can say.

Students had fun using their math skills to help determine the amount of paint needed to repaint part of a classroom. They also figured out the ratios of various colors to create the "perfect gray"!
