I'm honestly sad at the lack of transparency that those who expect FREE voice work expect. Like paid work will give you line/word count to estimate cost verse time, but free projects rarely list this and no one seems to question that?
When you have old voice samples on freesound.org and now end up jump-scaring yourself constantly. Video Games, Music Videos, and now K-Dramas, wtf xD
Voice actors, what are your thoughts on passion projects that do not offer payment, but still expect you to perform tasks such as line splicing & labeling per line/take, or audio editing like noise removal/leveling?
Every time I get on twitter it just sucks all the passion out of voice work for me. Idk how so many people are chronically on this site and still actively getting shit done. Good for you, but man this place is draining.
