We are looking at our first truly snowy week for @MammothMountain! Get ready for Opening Day and hopefully some fresh turns this Friday, November 15th!

After the 10 inches that fell @MammothMountain over the weekend, we are so close to calling this season the biggest comeback season ever! Not only are we in 2nd place but are only 1 of 2 seasons that breached the 300-inch mark. It's been a hell of a winter season!

Tweet Image 1

The Winter that keeps on Giving! I'm forecasting upwards of 8 inches at Main Lodge @MammothMountain for this Saturday storm. Our May average is 8 inches. May Snowstorm, you can do it!!

After the 2 inches that fell @MammothMountain, we are now tied for 2nd place for March - June of all Strong El Nino seasons! A truly impressive comeback for us given how poorly the season started. And, I do believe we take 2nd place properly after this weekend...

A truly April dumper of a storm @MammothMountain! 19 inches at Main and counting! Take a look at where we stand for closing in on March - June for Strong El Nino! Closing in on the number 2 spot! Can we break into the number 2 spot this month? I believe!

Tweet Image 1

I was asked yesterday to make the Jan - Jun graph for snowfall @MammothMountain following the worst Oct-Dec. Here we are! 303 inches for the season with only 1 season in the lead. If April and May deliver we're looking at a close race for number 1 comeback!

Tweet Image 1

What a comeback for @MammothMountain! With the latest round of storms we have officially surpassed the 230 inch comebacks of the La Nada years in the early 90's! This yes is the poster child for a comeback year and it's not over yet, with more snow in the forecast this week!

Tweet Image 1

The latest storm has dropped 20 inches @MammothMountain with more to come later this weekend. We are now officially in the upper category of March - June snowfall for Strong El Nino's. Only 10 more inches and we'll exceed the 2015-2016 season, which will put us over the average!

Tweet Image 1

Now that's a beautiful storm for any time of the year but especially for late March! Get ready for more fresh snowfall @MammothMountain & SoCal resorts!

Tweet Image 1

After the impressive storm that came through last night @MammothMountain we are now truly in the upper echelons of comeback years. Only 1 year has surpassed this year's comeback and we have more snow coming this weekend! We have also exceeded our March average with 71 inches!

Tweet Image 1

After the 8 inches that fell @MammothMountain where do we stand for catching up? Darn good! As you can see we're about to surpass the Miracle March comeback of 17-18 and we're closing in on the La Nada 200 in comebacks. We have a good chance of reaching 200 by month's end!

This is an excellent feature that will help you determine if the snow quality will be light and fluffy vs. wet and cementy!

NEW: Snow Ratio Forecast You can now get a good idea of the upcoming snow quality for the next storm via our new "Snow Ratio" forecast for any location in OpenSnow. opensnow.com/news/post/new-…

So, @MammothMountain just got out of the bottom 10, but what happens next? Here's a look at March - June snowfall during strong El Nino's. You'll notice 2 flavors.. either quite a bit more snow or not much at all. We're already above one year, so 50/50 of either!

Tweet Image 1

It will be upon us later today. What's looking like the biggest storm of the season for @MammothMountain I would be extremely surprised if we didn't see at least 4 FT of snow! And there's always a chance we could see upwards of 6 FT of snow!

Tweet Image 1

Excitement builds for a big storm this coming Thursday night - Sunday morning for @MammothMountain! My forecast @OpenSnow has a range of close to 4 FT to over 5 FT. Let's pray the forest holds over the next few days! opensnow.com/dailysnow/mamm…

While this last storm wasn't quite as strong as we had hoped we are now going to surpass the worst El Nino season in the bottom 10 for total snowfall for the season at @MammothMountain! As you can see we are close to breaking out of the bottom 10!

Tweet Image 1

After the last storm, we are up to 99 inches for the month of February at @MammothMountain! The next storm will push over the 100 inch mark. Here's where we stand with respect to other seasons that had slow starts. After next week we will be in contention in the top 5!

Tweet Image 1

Where do you stand in the bottom 10 snowfall seasons for @MammothMountain? Currently at number 3, but we still have most of February, March, April, and May to go. I'm feeling good about breaking out of the bottom 10 by the end of the season.

Tweet Image 1

The storm finally wrapped up and dropped 47 inches to @MammothMountain! That brings our February total up to 79 inches, which is 7 inches over our average! Our seasonal total is now up to 177 inches, and we are slowly climbing out of the bottom 10 seasons! Plot on where we stand

Tweet Image 1

It's coming. The moment we've all been waiting for. A storm to really deliver a crushing blow to our snowpack deficit. It's not likely we'll fully come out of the hole, but this storm will make a big difference. Get ready @MammothMountain
