Excited to share our latest findings @NHM_Science! Using CFD-DEM, we modeled trace formation in various environments and identified subaerial morphological instabilities, frequency anlyses suggest mollusc-like pioneers from Cambrian ventured on land first! royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/rs…

New paper out today on marine bioturbating and reef-building ecosystem engineers throughout the Phanerozoic🪱🪸 from me and Simon Darroch in Palaeontology. First paper from my @Royalcom1851 Fellowship, and very excited to share what I’ve been up to! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/pa…

New paper out looking at the potential for ecosystem engineering lineages to cause faunal turnover (with reference to the E-C transition). Collab with @PalaeoTom, @Cambriannelids and the inimitable @RussellGarwood who did all the heavy lifting with TREvoSim.

As part of my post-PhD rediscover-my-non-work-life journey, I took up running — something I assumed my whole life I would just never be fit enough to do. Super proud to have finished my first race today, and PBed it on the muddy trails!! And now, sleep… 🏃🏻‍♀️🍺😴
