I loved Arcane so much cus of how it mirrored real life problems. Especially Palestine right now. The oppression, the brutality, the victims of years of abuse, how privilege can be blinding. S2 just...threw it all out in the trash? And still painted the oppressed as a criminal?
the whole “peace between zaun and piltover” in the au is also such bullshit. piltover wouldn’t care about a zaun kid dying they’d see them as criminals first for breaking into jayce’s office.

you know what’s funny abt that fucking timeline where zaun and piltover united only if vi was gone all bc the enforcers saw a child die? implying they were radicalized by that enough to unite w zaun? but in s1 they had noooo problem throwing a child in jail to be beaten? okay!
idk guys i just think if they didn’t gaf about zaun and real politics, they should’ve rewritten the piltover and zaun plot, not turned caitlyn into an actual authoritarian and stuck to surface level/light political commentary!

its such a testament to ekko's character that even tho he's in an alternate universe where everyone he loves is still alive, he still chose to go back to his own world to save everyone he cares abt there instead, even if it means giving up the one thing he ever wanted for himself
they should just release the original cut, idc if it looks like the sims or if it's too long or something, i need to see what the true story is.
