I haven’t wanted to read a sealed section so much since pinching my sisters Dolly magazine as a 13 year old #Robodebt #Auspol2023

I just read this by Brooke Boney... Twice. A powerful piece that would lead a stone to reflect smh.com.au/national/nsw/a…

BREAKING: The Victorian Greens will introduce a bill to expand our state's presumptive cancer scheme for firefighters. Updating the scheme to add more cancers – including cervical, ovarian and uterine cancer – will ensure better support for women and gender diverse firefighters.

This is a brilliant piece of writing. Clear in its logic, searing in its truth:

As the dust settles on the Coronation, I've summarised the facts about Harry and Meghan. Frankly there's little to say. Despite this, the Express published 136 overwhelmingly negative articles about the couple over a 4-day period. Many were brutally aggressive and insulting.

You know the @Liberal party are in trouble when they scrape the bottom of the barrel and send @DanTehanWannon out to talk to @PatsKarvelas on #RNBreakfast 🤣🤡

That we're still having any kind of "debate" is rather fucking galling isn't it. #Voice #VoteYes #Yes23 #FuckTheLibs

A politician who championed the voice of the most oppressed. If you want to know why he keeps winning elections. You need to accept the reality that a majority of voters want empathy and compassion from their political leaders. Not nastiness and hate.

As a country, we've spent so long telling Aboriginal Australians how it's going to be. Telling them what's best for them. And it hasn't worked. The Voice is an offer to change that.

The problem is no-one has explained The Voice to Peter Dutton in a way he can understand. Quite simply, it’s a dedicated body that exists to help shape government policy. Like News Corp, but for Indigenous Australians.

"A unity ticket between Dutton, Hanson and Abbott, I don't think is going to resonate with the Australian people. That's a voice of fear and prejudice and negativity. Compared to the voice of friendship and hope and reconciliation that Uluru offers" - Noel Pearson on @RNBreakfast

If @PeterDutton_MP thinks a local #Voice is more important than a Canberra #VoiceToParliament then he should get on his bike and run for the Moreton Bay Regional Council #auspol #VOICE2023

Cop this Peter Dutton. In just 6 months … #auspol #qt

Sussan Ley: "By the way Patricia, did you not think it was odd that the premier voted I think two days before the election? What’s he hiding from?" Patricia Karvelas: "Matthew Guy has also pre-polled." Ley: "Well, I, you, I know ...I, I think....." Confirmed: Ley is a fool.

BREAKING: Firefighters reveal the state of neglect of the Fire Service under the Andrews Government. Vote to support firefighters this election #underfire #vicvotes2022 Find out how at underfire.com.au/scorecard

A bigoted One Nation bill was resurrected for debate this morning. It was an opportunity, at least, to remind One Nation of their irrelevance in this new parliament and that people will not stand for their hateful politics.

It was an absolute privilege working alongside Andrew Denton on Victoria's Voluntary Assisted Dying laws. He sent me this lovely message and honestly it leaves me speechless. 🥰

Our firefighters need the right trucks and equipment to keep us safe and I don’t think anyone in our community would disagree. Was proud to stand alongside the United Firefighters Union today as they launched their election scorecard for parties and candidates. #springst
