Found out today that training the bottom of a network uses more VRAM than training the entire network.
Not being on Twitter/X for the first half of my PhD might be my most costly mistake yet. How did I/anyone/everyone let this happen?!
I guess it's time to train my feed to actually show me research...

PhD applications made me feel like I should know what I want to work on. Now with things wrapping up, while I still don't know my exact interests, I definitely know they don't all fit in my head at one time.
