Elon, forgive me, but there is no excuse for being such an utter berk about this. I’m white and a Christian. No one is chucking bricks at my church or telling me to go back to where I come from. I’m concerned about attacks on the communities that are actually *being* attacked.
I’m extremely proud of Jude. She has made a huge difference in the lives of thousands of people in Westmorland, including many in very tough circumstances. Alongside the rest of my amazing team, Jude reminds us that politics when done properly is about serving others.
Congratulations to Jude Godden MBE, whose charitable spirit is recognised in today’s Honours. Jude is a carer for a family member, a caseworker for @timfarron, and has served her community tirelessly for over 20 years. Jude is the true embodiment of a community champion.

Just to be clear. Regardless of gender nobody should be a billionaire. However much I want women to have enough money to protect themselves in an emergency and not have to tolerate male violence/oppression for a roof over their head. Nobody should have a billion of anything.
I have been harassed, catcalled, followed by men since age 13-in my school uniform. And so were my friends. We are taught to cover up, to be afraid, to take precautions, while men were taught ‘boys will be boys’ & not held accountable for their violence. This must end.
