Seems important for SEOs to know: • Google has now removed the "View Cache" link from search results • You can still see Google's cache by searching "cache:example(dot)com" for now... More via @rustybrick
Google seems to have dropped the cache link from the search result snippets (I no longer see it) but you can still access the cache, here is how seroundtable.com/google-search-… hat tip Frank Sandtmann
Has Google just quietly announced SGE isn't going to happen? New AI search updates include this coded language at the bottom. "we'll continue to offer SGE in Labs as a testbed for bold new ideas" The wording "continue to offer".. "in labs" seems to show a move-forward state of…
Possibly the biggest change in pr world this year & I’ve not seen a peep about it in any trends/predictions But starting from next month, Google says they’ll require bulk email senders to authenticate emails allow for easy unsubscription stay under a spam threshold Link below
Oh good, the #1 ranking for "JFK death penalty" is a short term paper seemingly written by some anonymous 5th grader in a Google Doc. Hidden gem indeed. h/t @MckKirk google.com/search?q=jfk+d…

Anyone else notice Google is barely indexing anything right now? This usually happens during core updates, but this update is lasting forever so it’s getting annoying.
Google is essentially not crawling anything at the moment. This is to be expected because of the update, but still surprising to this extent. I added new pages 3 days ago to an existing site with authority, submitted sitemap, they’ve only crawled 1 page and it’s not even indexed.
It's been close to 6 months since I made this prediction, and I think I underestimated it... I believe it'll be over 50% now. Why? - Most agencies aren't prepared for the MASSIVE changes coming, a lot are still in denial too - Individual AI models acting as agents in a team will…
I predict that over 25% of digital marketing agencies will go out of business in the next 12-18 months... Over 50% for SEO agencies.
Didn't know this, but Google offers a VERY easy tool to find + delete search results containing personally sensitive information about you. Things like your: • Email • Telephone # • Home Address It won't delete results "valuable to the public" but geez this was a great find.
Winding down for Xmas when you work in agency land
Thanks for reporting this, @brodieseo , @RedCardinal & @PedroDias . The team has been looking into this and is working to resolve it. This is a Search Console reporting issue, and not related to indexing or ranking.
Heads-up: if you're noticing a significant decline in valid pages in Google Search Console across various reports (CWV, HTTPs, AMP etc.), you're not alone. Seeing a large drop in valid items across various properties. I'm sure we'll get feedback from Google shortly.
