We are excited to recruit a PhD/MSc student to work on the bacterial plant pathogen P. syringae and its interactions with plasmids and phage. My group utilizes genomics, molecular bacteriology, protein biochemistry and fieldwork to study bacterial evolution 🧫🌱 Please share! 🤩

The APS @plantdisease meeting is not a society of great plant pathologists but a society of incredibly supportive and kind people! Thanks to the @QuesadaLabNCSU for always being so welcoming. It makes the long travel worthwhile. Thanks, Dr. Lina! #PlantHealth2024

Day 1 of #PlantHealth2024 has ended. It was a great experience to see dear professors and friends again, and to learn about new technologies to identify plant pathogens!"

🚨 This is the first report of Reniform nematode in cotton fields Oklahoma A survey to quantify how widespread this nematode is in Oklahoma cotton fields will be conducted this growing season

“Monitoring the distribution of [reniform nematode]...can be helpful to identify areas where scouting and management are needed.” From the article "Summarized distribution of the reniform nematode, Rotylenchulus reniformis, in field crops in the United States"…
