Surely for transparency and maximising stakeholders' contributions CCNI website should also have a link to the 'future of charity regulation' panel, and to issue news release that an online questionnaire launched today can be completed? Try harder to reach your stakeholders!

Dublin understands that “re-unification” without reconciliation won’t work, so how do we ‘engage’? disq.us/t/3vjq8ir

If the rules don’t apply to Cummings they don’t apply to anyone.

Basically if Catherine Calderwood and Neil Ferguson had to go for being scientists who broke the rules then Cummings will have to go for being a key politico who did the same. Otherwise the UK govt and Boris will lose control of the message. It’s the rules. Time to stay alert!

Another big day for #standingupforjournalism in Northern Ireland. Thanks to all involved for the support so ably led by our union and please add your support too!

Media industry, trade unions & politicians all stand up for journalism in Northern Ireland and challenge the increasing violent threats to press freedom - nuj.org.uk/news/northern-… #standupforjournalism #NUJ #media #NorthernIreland

Can we not just wait until this is all over and we can have the ‘mother and father’ of an inquiry when heads can roll (hopefully) and lessons are learnt (even less likely)?

#Covid19.. #CareHomes .. a @niassembly cross party committee ought to demand that Health Minister @RobinSwannMoH immediately sets up a public inquiry into the Home Care scandal. The people dying are mothers, fathers, brothers & sisters who gave a life’s service. @StephenNolan

Hey Ards&NorthDown Council, any chance of recycling centres opening putting an end to fly tipping, householders accumulating waste to crisis proportions and growing need to furlough Council workers? Distancing at Centres can’t be hard to set up- they are already one way!

The death of trivia absorbed newspapers marches closer. May well be a casualty of Covid-19.

I can see the public interest in naming Niall Ferguson's lover. I can't for life of me see the public interest in splashing her photo (alongside story that does what Tele op-ed pages have been trying to do for two months, discredit Imperial and lockdown).

Must have been difficult for him, flying Aer Lingus rather than British Airways.

Ian Paisley took this flight to go to Westminster, he can’t give out about it now?

I will. Wear a mask. If queuing or sitting with strangers on public transport follow what you have seen every night on TV, pics of medical staff wearing masks and more sophisticated equipment then that's good enough visual advice to me. Does everyone need spoonfed?

Brian Ambrose , Chief Exec Belfast City Airport, tells Nolan Show government has provided no clarity as to whether giving plane passengers masks would make them safer . Who will answer this question ?

Academia today. One step away from book burning.

Congratulations Ann. I have always thought that the arrival of grandchild(ren) gives you a satisfying sense of family continuity.

My first grandchild Cora Marie Dugdale born 16/4/20. Looking forward to holding her. Being very disciplined even though she lives just 5 minutes away. #granny #NHSThankYou

I prefer the definition that “news is what someone doesn’t want you hear; everything else is advertising.”

“a shocking/gruesome discovery” (or similar).

Watching a documentary. Won’t even tell you what it’s about but if you can finish this journalistic cliché, you’ll probably guess: “On the edge of Epping Forest a man walking his dog made...” (answer is 3 words)

Patronising. Suppose it’s better than scattering pennies from the royal coach.

Given that so few people go to church he’s probably right.

Consideration should be given for the controlled opening of Church buildings. Private prayer is deeply personal. Social distancing is being followed in supermarkets, off-licences, takeaways, etc. I am confident this can be achieved in places of worship too.

Problem is if hundreds of unionists want to leave their house prices would fall making it difficult to have a comparable home in GB. For an all Ireland we want integrated secular education, an NHS, a fair relocation of Govt Depts, including IDA and Senate to NI. PSNI i/c of Garda
