Unfortunately, marathoner Rebecca Cheptegei, who ran for Uganda 🇺🇬 at the @Paris2024 Olympics, has passed away. The marathoner had been doused with petrol and set on fire after a disagreement over a piece of land with her boyfriend in Eldoret, Kenya 🇰🇪. Body suffered 75% burns.
