Bad leaders think they need to have all the best ideas (and feel insecure when they don’t). Good leaders steward the great ideas of people around them.
Leaders: One of the most powerful exercises I've ever done is write down every single thing you do for your organization; any task that wouldn't get done without you (no matter how small). You're probably not equipping/delegating as well as you think.
This morning I was thinking about the multi-faceted language that scripture uses to describe our role as Jesus followers: Witnesses, Disciples, Evangelists, Ambassadors. We often gravitate toward one or two, but there is beauty in the others as well.
