I'm delighted to unveil my "36 Hours Munich" for @nytimestravel It's the fruit of much (often-delicious) research, writing & editing. I couldn't be more thrilled with how it turned out. Thanks to Laetitia Vançon for the wonderful photos! #Muenchen #36hrs nytimes.com/interactive/20…

So much great advice in ⁦@carolecadwalla⁩’s “How to survive the broligarchy” ⁦@guardian⁩, but this is my favorite: Watch The Lives of Others …Act as if you are now living in East Germany & Meta/Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp is the Stasi. It is. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Todd Haynes will be the Jury President of the @berlinale in 2025, Tricia Tuttle's 1st year in charge. In 1991 Haynes won @TeddyAward for "Poison." He has since become a @Festival_Cannes darling. Hayne's return to Berlin bodes well for Tuttle's mandate to revitalize the festival.

In his⁩ essay about Charles Ives, ⁦@alexrossmusic2⁩ points to the almost criminal neglect of the composer in NY during his 150th birthday year. “Something has gone wrong when ⁦@blnfestspiele features Ives in depth while New York overlooks him.” newyorker.com/magazine/2024/…
