If you kill Canada Post, rural and remote regions will basically lose delivery service because it’s not profitable to serve them. Canada Post services EVERYONE, and doesn’t even receive a subsidy! We need to fund and strengthen it, not gut it like this clueless tech CEO demands.
At least 67k small businesses on Shopify use Canada Post, and will be affected by them going on strike right on BFCM weekend. Canada Post has a government monopoly on delivering to P.O. boxes and is the only carrier supplying rural areas. This should not be allowed.
