#EndSars was the issue nothing else. Demands were made and weren't met. President said he has accepted the demands but no action. He was given report on reforming SARS in June 2019 and he did nothing. You blame the youth for staying on the streets and insisting they see actions?

We need people on the grassroots level. Majority of the population are poor and not familiar with pop culture or the internet. We need to find a way to engage and carry them along. We need everybody.
If they don’t have regard for the lives that we have lost these past few days, I definitely do. And for their sake, I will NEVER EVER lose hope. Justice must be served. It is the very least they deserve.

I don't know if this is ignorant...but is it possible to form a community of sorts where we can start to groom or have leaders who are accountable to us and maybe eventually a party that is funded and powered by us. Or something of that nature...???
I don't know the way forward right now given this speech kini but accountability can't just fade away. We came this far. So there'll have to be a different way where people won't get hurt on the street. We restrategise later
