#EndSars was the issue nothing else. Demands were made and weren't met. President said he has accepted the demands but no action. He was given report on reforming SARS in June 2019 and he did nothing. You blame the youth for staying on the streets and insisting they see actions?

Nigerian Youths!!! Own your Narrative!! If not, they will create their own narrative and swear that is the truth. Thank you @sam_adeyemi ✊🏿

1.Dear young citizen. It’s time for everyone to reflect. The massive destruction of properties in Lagos and other cities is so sad. Some want to blame you, but you must not buy that narrative. They know those that introduced violence. #ENDSARS

We need people on the grassroots level. Majority of the population are poor and not familiar with pop culture or the internet. We need to find a way to engage and carry them along. We need everybody.

If they don’t have regard for the lives that we have lost these past few days, I definitely do. And for their sake, I will NEVER EVER lose hope. Justice must be served. It is the very least they deserve.

Too late to back down! I refuse to be let down! I refuse to lose hope! Nigeria will be better!!! Well meaning Nigerian Youths, now is the time to come together as one irrespective of tribe and religion and make plans on how to make Nigeria better for all of us!!! One Voice ✊🏿

I don't know if this is ignorant...but is it possible to form a community of sorts where we can start to groom or have leaders who are accountable to us and maybe eventually a party that is funded and powered by us. Or something of that nature...???

Doyin Omoze Adesina Reposted

I don't know the way forward right now given this speech kini but accountability can't just fade away. We came this far. So there'll have to be a different way where people won't get hurt on the street. We restrategise later

That speech just reignited the #EndSARS spark. Sometimes, you need to pull back and listen to your oppressor to remember why you were fighting in the first place.

All of you saying you are/want to leave now, stop that smack talk! Just 1 week ago,you were abusing a generation for leaving you a useless Nigeria and declaring yourselves THE generation that would change things. Did you think it would be easy? The battle has just begun! Strap in!
