Running an HVAC or construction service biz requires a LOT of AP & bill tracking, time tracking, job costing, and progress billing… Whats the best way to manage these? Combo of QB, Bill.com, and ServiceTitan? @AustinLinney @tradesearcher @thehvacjack

Business partnerships are like marriages. A strong, complimentary, & aligned partner can be game changing. But nothing is worse than an unmotivated, incompetent, or misaligned partner in your cap stack. (Goes for cofounders and investors too)

As much fun as it is searching / closing an #SMB, remember that the real game is operating it.

EXCEPTION: If you're in construction etc, you might have to use an HRIS like Gusto/Bamboo and get your own workers comp & benefits. Lots of 1099s, many employees will qualify for Obamacare, and most PEOs will be scared to cover workers comp for these types of workers.

If you own a small business, you should be using a modern PEO. The time savings letting them do payroll, onboarding, taxes, benefits, compliance more than pays for the marginal cost. And the ability to offer yourself healthcare at normal pricing is... priceless.

Biggest arbitrage opportunity right now: BUY 🥣Chipotle Bowls w/ side tortilla SELL🌯 Chipotle Burritos

If you buy an SMB / Franchise with <$300k in SDE, you're buying yourself a job. Don't forget about opportunity costs and scalability.

Finally trying this Calendly thing out. What's the verdict on it?

Haha I'm not the only one who hates my yoke. Now I need stalks back PLS!

LOL I see Tesla has finally caved a year and a half later, and is now offering a round wheel for the new Model S/X, and existing yoke customers can get it retrofit (for $700) (Still has capacitive blinkers though, no stalks. So I won't be switching) shop.tesla.com/product/model-…
