What a great humiliation it is to refrain from doing something out of fear of what people will say. And what a greater humiliation it is to lose sight of Allaah, forgetting that He created you for His worship and obedience, and not for seeking people’s approval or validation. 🌱
Shaykh Ibn Bāz رحمه الله said: “Do not be upset when you hear ‘May Allāh guide you.’ You need guidance, even if you were the most pious of people and even if you were the most knowledgeable of people, you need guidance until you die.”
