Had to check the correlation between county pres and WI SC vote for this week's election. Here's the trend from the late 90s to 2023. In 2023, r=.96, which is the highest it has been in the past ~30 years. cc @bcburden @PollsAndVotes @prowag

If you're into state constitutions, this State Constitution Tool, which shows how different state constitutions compare to one another and the U.S. Constitution, is extremely cool. stateconstitutiontool.org

Spent the morning in Door County talking to a company about the 2024 elections. It’s always great to get out into the region and represent @uwgb and @UWGBcahss! Got a ton of great questions today.

Join us virtually or in person on Tuesday, 9/3 at 11:00 a.m. EDT for the launch of TrueViews, a new hyperlocal public opinion resource developed by @Harvard_Law’s @ElectionClinic and supported by the Local Politics Lab located at the center. Virtual event open to all. In-person…

Who are the conflict entrepreneurs in Congress? A few who get disproportionate media attention. The majority of federal lawmakers never make a personal attack (66; 12.2%) or do so in less than 1% of their communication (350; 64.8%). Track their speech at americaspoliticalpulse.com/elites/
