Cycle lanes cause more congestion, not less. Change my mind.
I have had cyclists defending it to me, say it's OK if the road is busy/scary, and of course always using it to demand more cycle lanes of course! Cycling charities SHOULD have campaigns aimed at cyclists - @Sustrans get £100M a year; @CyclingUK_SE £150M. OUR TAXES,.
You do know that NO driving org defends driving cars on pavements (though part-parking on pavements necessary sometimes, as where I live to let emergency vehicles have access). ALL cycling charities DEFEND cyclists riding pavements illegally! FOR SHAME
