As a law school alum, I have just opened what can only be described as the most dejectedly vigilant email sent out by the management regarding the introduction of AI (specifically, Chat GPT) in education as academically labour-intensive as law… It’s definitely one approach.
Being someone who lives to eat, I have eaten in plenty of places across all continents except Antarctica… And I would reckon I have a pretty solid handle on the best of world street food. Here are my top 10: • Phuchka - India • Balinese Satay - Indonesia (cotd.)
I have lived and loved Europe for 16 years and I have extensively travelled its width and breadth. In an era of inflation, when asked about how to see Europe on a budget, these are my picks as a former student vacationer in the continent:
I am British and moved my life transatlantic 2 years ago. I recall sharing a poem by Brian Bilston that Julia Roberts had posted titled, ‘America Is A Gun’ in the direct aftermath of the 24th May 2022 shooting where a gunman killed 19 kids and 2 teachers in Uvalde, Texas. 👇🏼
Much of Europe is now cliché and yet, Edinburgh is magical. I’m not biased because I did both my undergrad and postgrad at @EdinburghUni, I’m biased because only a city so pretty could hold onto me.
Pure nostalgia. Living in KL, Malaysia for 2 years of middle school at @ISKLofficial made for some long-lasting friendships and memories. Malaysia Week takes pride of place on the highlights reel. Supremely well-coordinated by Ms. @KarenPalko I could never forget…
As the excitement builds up for the upcoming Malaysia Week 2023, we caught up with Malaysia Week Coordinator Karen Palko to explore more about the long-standing Middle School experience and what makes it such a memorable week! 🤿 #ISKL #ISKLproud
International students in the US are legally not allowed to start a business and earn income Same with people on a work visa tied to a specific employer - it is illegal for them to start a side hustle Fixing this would be a huge win for entrepreneurship in this country
“An over-reliance on a few source countries for international students creates risk for universities in the face of uncertainties like geopolitical shifts, policy changes or border closures” bit.ly/3wRCbjJ

For tcks and their families, no move is ever easy. Every transition is a bumpy redo of immigration, schooling, social and cultural integration, and still so much more… Let @_the_tck smooth out the bumps.
The Third Culture is a childhood of goodbyes. Doing your best to get a quality education as you leave your home, school, friends, family behind…is hard. @_the_tck makes it easier.
