Super honoured to be named one of the Hill Times’ “top 100 most influential people” in Canadian politics. Also appreciate @TheHillTimes recognizing the big impact of @pressprogress’ journalism, in spite of the otherwise small size of our team. hilltimes.com/story/2024/01/… #cdnmedia

On behalf of the 🇩🇪 Embassy and the 🇩🇪 CG in Vancouver: John Horgan was an astonishing Ambassador who worked tirelessly to strengthen the 🇩🇪-🇨🇦 ties. We will miss him dearly. Our heartfelt condolences to the government and the people in B.C. as well as his wife and family.

John Horgan’s death leaves us with heavy hearts. John loved this province and its people. He sought to build a better, stronger British Columbia for everyone.   His beloved wife, Ellie, and sons, Evan and Nate, are in our thoughts and prayers.

Guy who threw a public temper tantrum yesterday because CBC Radio asked him a question he didn’t like now pleading with everyone not to quit Twitter because we need to be “listening to perspectives that might make us uncomfortable”

Wait, what was the point of economists being on this site? Wasn’t it to provide evidence and nuance where there’s none? Wasn’t it about listening to perspectives that might make us uncomfortable? Isn’t this exactly when we shouldn’t leave? Did the Trump election teach us nothing?

You received an apology @mikalskuterud Isn't that enough? Why then publicly criticize the show's host, @HallieCBC, like this? What are you hoping to achieve? Seems like an overreaction. Just accept the apology and move on.

🧵Disappointing interview on CBC Ottawa this morning. Host was determined to push me into a corner to say that responsibility for unsustainable growth in foreign students lays with provinces, not Feds. Interview ended abruptly when I refused. 1/9 Listen: cbc.ca/listen/live-ra…

Your segment was seven and a half minutes long There were seven segments, four of which were around the same length as yours. How long do you think you deserved to be on-air?

The smearing of @davidpugliese was disgraceful. A prime example of how the "foreign influence" hysteria easily leads to pure slander.
