He became Kenya’s president two years ago riding on the crest of the Christian vote. But now, William Ruto has been accused by other Christians as a leader who is "not serving God’s purpose but an evil one". How did it come to this? bbc.in/3AWCIXu

It pains me to see how Kenya is becoming the playground for authoritarian regimes to do with the opposition as they please. The abductions and forced disappearances cannot be accepted as a new normal. #FreeBesigye

When chickens have a higher approval rating than you on a basic X poll, you need to step aside and let someone else run the country.

Poll: If elections were held today, who will you vote for?

This is all Moi's fault because he plucked these boys from university and from their father's shadow and spent 20 years telling them they were important and now they just won't go away because they've never had real jobs and don't know what else to do with themselves.

These other African countries helped get our protests international, which helped us get the small gains we did, so even you retweet #FreeMozambique and #MozambiqueElections when you see it

At least 18 protesters and a police officer have died during weeks of unrest across Mozambique since the October 9 election. Frelimo, the ruling party for nearly 50 years, was declared the winner, but opposition parties claim widespread electoral fraud.

My attention is on the events unfolding after #MozambiqueElections . I wish #Mozambique was getting the attention it deserves. We cannot commit to ignoring things (like Sudan gets ignored) because MSM is not blasting it into our faces.
