It’s always revealing when the city puts up temporary paper No Parking signs in existing No Standing zones that are notorious for @placardabuse—showing that they *can* prevent dangerous, congestion-causing illegal parking when they want. They just don’t ever want to.

Still there during rush hr: Ex. A of how this city works. Instead of moving an NYPD car that blocks the pedestrian path, @NYC_DOT put an electronic sign blocking the bike lane and crosswalk to the BK Bridge to announce one 4-hr overnight car lane closure nine (9) days from now.
