I agree with the villains part heavily, and think it contributes to why both "sides" are losing. PGAT benefits from having contrasting personalities to boost the stars. LIV suffers because a-holes are hard to watch, other than by a-hole fans largely.
I believe great golf is great golf. If 20 players from LiV don’t play the majors, 20 up and comers will fill that void. There is too much talent in the pipeline. The longer LIV players aren’t on network, the sooner no one cares and we start pulling for new stars.

Unfortunately, money has changed things. Charity used to be a huge priority on tour, but it's taken a backseat. LIV has overvalued the worth of golfers so much that it has ruined our perspective, and pushed purses to unsustainable levels. The marketplace seems broken.
