What those clubs have in common is they’re both owned by really sweet, amazing men. Joey isn’t upset he can’t work there either. Comedy and Magic is just historically a “clean” comedy club. The owner, Mike Lacey is one of the nicest guys ever.
On a recent podcast with @Erikgriffin I mistakenly said Joey Diaz can’t work at @icehousecomedy because he’s too dirty, I THOUGHT I was saying The Comedy and Magic club. I didn’t even know I said Ice House, @AriShaffir texted me to tell me.
Either way, my apologies to all involved for the mistake. Joey works at @icehousecomedy all the time and Bob Fischer the owner is one of my all time favorite people in showbiz. I blame the weed.
When you feel sad after you’ve sinned or done wrong, be happy because your heart is not dead. It’s a gift from the Almighty to be able to tell right from wrong. Beware the dead heart that is numb; it keeps sinning repeatedly and doesn’t feel an iota of guilt!
You have a choice. You can either stress over what you’re going through or you can do your best given the circumstances and pray for the best outcome. What’s done is done. Pray about it. You don’t know what the future holds, pray for it. Whatever your situation, pray!
