Matt Painter and Purdue with a big win vs Alabama. Great performance and victory for the Boilermakers. Purdue shot 49% from the field, 56% from 3, and only turned it over 3 times.

Appreciate the kind words! I enjoy my time with @JackPilgrimKSR on Sources Say. We look forward to a fun season.

Shawn, I just wanted to say thank you for your work on the Sources Say podcast. I've been a Kentucky football fan for over a decade but never got into basketball until the Pope hire. Your insights and explanations on the podcast are helping my kids and me learn the game

That podcast is live tonight at 7:00 to break down Kentucky’s win vs. Duke

I think I remember a certain podcast telling us how important Garrison could/ would be 🤔

This is beautiful from Mark Pope and Kentucky. Watch how Kentucky twirls out across the midline. That action creates an empty look for Carr. The help is occupied and gone.

Watching the game again and I’m more impressed with the plays Brandon Garrison made in key moments. If he doesn’t get a piece of that attempt from Knueppel, we might be having a different conversation. He also got to a 50/50 ball to clean up a stop and a miss on the other end.

Flagg, Knueppel, and Proctor played the entire second half for Duke. Oweh and Carr were the only two to play 17+ in the second half for Kentucky. Mark Pope managed his bench well. Got a perfectly timed stretch from Brandon Garrison.

Called that victory back on September 24. Had to lean on Kentucky being old. It’s only one moment but it’s a significant one for Mark Pope.

Great decisions down the stretch by Mark Pope. Kentucky locked in defensively. Held Duke to 29 percent shooting in the second half.

Legendary moment for Mark Pope. Just the beginning.

That’s Kentucky basketball

Big stretch for Brandon Garrison. Making an impact.

Kentucky is right there with a chance to win it late. You take that.

Already a big fan of Kerr

Kentucky and Duke. Big stage. Big opportunity.

I was honored to introduce Sean Woods as the keynote speaker at our tip-off dinner this weekend. It was a fun evening celebrating our Douglass basketball program. I’m excited to be back on The Farm for a second year and I’m looking forward to the journey this season.

Game winning set by Bill Self and Kansas, a look they go to a lot to move help and take away backside.

Bill Self is the best at running action to take away weak side help in the post.

North Carolina and Kansas in a close one early in the season. So glad college basketball is here.
