I agree looking after yourself is crucial x

My daughter said "when I say to my friends don't touch my hair, they only laugh at me and think I'm joking!"...the fun sure begins..

My first exchange in Ireland is with a woman working in an airport shop. She tells me in a strong Polish accent “You have unusual hair. Like a doll. Ahahahahahahaha” and so the fun begins...

Burn out is real though...hence self care being vitally important. The world will keep taking till the individual lays some parameters and boundaries, perhaps in neoliberalism diction now termed and owned as 'self care'.

Self care that’s not in the service of collective transformation isn’t radical. It’s just neoliberal hyper-individualism repacked as woke

Totally!!! But as women, we strive, build, thrive and always do our best, 'our democracy' transcends party lines, creed, colour or age when it comes to backing each other. Wider democracy is another kettle of fish altogether, if we could call it that... But we carry on as women.

Tough to be a woman and is wonderful to stand for what you believe. But this democracy?

You've done well @theresa_may our daughters will certainly look to you and know, they can give it all they possibly can and the top is feasible for women. We applaud the hard work you've put in and know that as a woman, you leave with your head held high and many admire you!!!

Need to look into their health too...the highest 'New HIV infection rates' are among the youth on the African continent 15+24 year old females...a healthy population creates a productive and sound economic base. The two go strongly hand in hand, more needs to be done in HIV/AIDS

Africa is the most youthful continent in the world. By 2050, half of its population will be under 25. The number of people working will far outweigh dependents. Sustainable solutions = key to tap into youth’s contributions to build prosperous societies. one.org/africa/blog/af…
