Domestic abuse-related suicide is a sea of unseen and routinely ignored harm. It is the scandal of our times that perpetrators are not held responsible for their acts. Manslaughter convictions must be applied. These are aggravating crimes of coercive controlling behaviour.

I launched charity @Project9010 to give back an education I realised was MASSIVELY missing from my young life; that it wasn't just the strangers I should of been careful of! In fact more than the strangers, I should have been more aware of the people close to me in my life. FACT.…

We are glad to see Queen Camilla raise awareness of domestic abuse. Next, we want to see understanding DA is not inevitable - it is rooted in choices made by perpetrators, within patriarchal social norms We want to see these norms challenged itv.com/news/2024-11-1…

My thoughts are with all child abuse survivors who have been failed by the very people and institutions that should be protecting them. For many years, we have been calling for recommendations from IICSA to be implemented, especially mandatory reporting. I urge Govt to act soon.

IICSA was running for 7 years and the Govt had 7 months to respond to final recommendations. Today, we get a list of actions already taken and promises for more consultation. This response is an insult to the thousands of victims and survivors who gave testimony👇

Fantastic news .. well done! (Also they are lucky to have you!)

Very happy & honored to share that I’ve joined Bridge2Future’s advisory committee. 💟 Bridge2Future is a non-profit whose mission is research, advocacy & policy advice against Generational Trauma, Intimate Partner Violence & Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Women & Children.

Us too! and many many others :)

So today, I've spoken to two women who went back to the BDSM scene because feminists had been so horrible to them when they left. One cited quite a well known one who had been 'a damaging letdown'. If you leave the scene, I promise there are supportive women like me to help.

Good News ..

Economic abuse doesn’t always stop when a relationship ends. Separating from an abuser is often just the beginning. As of April last year, controlling or coercive behaviour that takes place after a relationship has ended became a criminal offence in England and Wales.
