Glad I don't spend too much time on this app. So many people on here hoping that this maniac is an asylum seeker with so many others hoping he's British born. Petty, pointscoring BS. Can't imagine what those kids' loved ones are dealing with. Hope they can all get through this.
I wish I had the ability to be this succinct.
Instead of slagging people off, and moaning about people voting for extremists like Reform and the Greens, maybe better to ask why people are voting for these parties. Scottish and UK politics is a shitshow.
Obviously the election result is a big topic today. It's incredible, looking at SM and speaking with family members, how many don't understand the difference between UK and Scottish elections.
There is no choice of sex. There is and always will in a liberal society be a choice of how to present and see oneself but as to choice of sex, there is none. The two things must not be confused.
If the person you're going to vote for doesn't know the difference between a man and a woman, you can't trust them with taxes, the NHS, education, policing, fire services, immigration, cost of living, welfare, security, energy, climate, public spending, or foreign affairs.
If someone could explain why it is left wing to believe men who say they are women and right wing to believe women who say they are not, I would be grateful.

Nobody is eroding the rights of transgender people. Those remain in terms of EA10 and rightly so. Women’s rights to single sex provisions are a separate matter and don’t require or deserve to be influenced by the needs, views or feelings of males.
The dearth of talent is only now being fully realised. Robertson will be seen as the old guard but he is a safe pair of hands, maybe too vanilla? If Regan gets some backing then there's a huge split coming, the leadership contest will just become an extension of the gender debate

No one will really understand politics until they understand that politicians are not trying to solve our problems. They are trying to solve their own problems—of which getting elected and re-elected are number one and number two. Whatever is number three is far behind.
How can anyone be so sycophantic towards a career politician? Following a party, because their policies align with your political leanings, that's one thing. Being a fan of someone who has decided, from a young age, that they want power is baffling to me (Red, blue or yellow).
