Government announces plans to introduce employment tribunal fees. Again. We represent over a million workers, many low-paid. This will just put up a barrier to justice and allow bosses to get away with bad employment practices.
Employment tribunal fees were introduced by the coalition government in 2013. The Supreme Court quashed employment tribunal fees in July 2017 following a challenge by @unisontheunion, saying that it “effectively prevents access to justice, and is therefore unlawful.”
