"Oh, you're a joy to be around." Maximus snickers and leans in to place a peck on Viktor's cheek, poking his nose playfully afterwards. "And I did pick up on your not so subtle meanings." Cue a wink from the lion.
"You should do it more often perhaps." Suggests Maximus with a chuckle, giving Viktor a pat on the back. "We'll find something for you to do. Perhaps in that dress." He was joking, of course.
"Oh don't sweat it, it's a fine prank and I'm not upset." Maximus stretches and stands up, walking over idly and patting Calvin between his ears.
"It was unexpected... bordering on a crime, but I did finished my serving." Maximus displays a soft smile and shows off the inside of his cup. It was indeed empty.
Blinking twice but gulping it still. It would be rude to spit. Though he does pant with his tongue out after. "Bleh..."
"Good man." Cue two pats right on top of the head. 'Fwomp fwomp'. Then the lion goes back to work, sweeping around while letting Viktor dust the furniture with a feather duster. "You're also a nice cat yourself. Even if it's our secret, hmhm."
Maximus can only sigh, walk over and pat Viktor between his ears. He meant well. "Well, thank you for joining me today regardless, I appreciate your company." Cue a little ear scritches thrown in there.
"I do like, yes. And I'm glad to hear my neighbors didn't see a man dressed up in a maid costume walk in through my front door." Maximus begins cleaning up the place by sweeping, looking over to the other feline. "Did you like wearing the maid dress? You could keep it."
"...Of course." Wiping his palm over his face. "Well, it's unnecessary. So feel free to strip and don your previous attire. ...You didn't walk through the streets looking like this, I hope." Maximus forgot about the cleaning job, he was enraptured in how does this even happen
"..." Maximus sighs and rubs the bridge of his nose between his eyes. "You didn't have /have/ to dress up like- Where did you even find this outfit??" The lion was bordering on incredulity despite the scene unfolding right before him.
"It's how I enjoy spending my time. I was thinking of perhaps getting a few plants, liven up the place. If you're fine with it that is." Maximus always asks before making changes to the common areas of the house. Once he was done with the dishes, he stashes the apron away.
“I hope it’s not a lot for ya to be always doing house stuff. I don’t mind help you out with it, not like you should do that stuff all alone. .heh y’know?” As he finishes his food, he continues to drink his coffee. Starting to sound more awake and refreshed now.
"Certainly. I'd love to accompany you." Maximus regards the hyena with an encouraging nod at the mention of his music, standing up going over to the sink to wash his dishes. "Personally I just busy myself around here though interestingly enough our paths seldom cross."
“Usually on weekends if I’m not working I just. .stay at home. Practice my music. .I never really played in the public yet. I want to just—. . .” That nervousness kicks in. “Haven’t had anything to play yet. But we could go out and shop. Wouldn’t hurt to get outside.”

"Taken care of. I do so enjoy picking out the freshest produce of the day when they open." There he went again, making it seem like he had 40 hours in his days somehow. Maximus then sits down himself, idly munching away. "Do you have any plans today?"
The yeen didn’t mind at all taking the coffee first before the food. “Thanks. .” Taking an immediate sip and lets off a sigh of relief. This’ll help pick him up. “If I had known you planned to cook. .I would’ve went out last night to get more groceries.”
"Good morning, Haida." Greets Maximus with a smile, clad in a pair of plain jeans and a white polo beneath an apron. He then slides Haida his plate of eggs and a cup off coffee. Maximus was kind of like the sun. Felt good to be around but might strain someone's temples so early
Smelling the food, the hyena stretches while finally sitting up from his bed. Might as well go and greet the roommate. “. . .” Rubbing his eyes, he walks out of his bedroom. No shirt, only boxers and shorts. “Good morning.”
Luckily for him Maximus was already making breakfast. All of the perks of having a housemate who's an early bird and a neat freak. By now he was used to making enough for the both of them without either really addressing it. He did enjoy cooking to some degree.
